Residential Care
Lola’s House provides residential care in Brough, East Yorkshire, for people who need support with daily life in a safe, caring environment.
Our residential care is built around comfort, dignity and routine. We support each resident as an individual, and we take the time to work out what genuinely helps them feel settled, not just what’s on a checklist. Choosing a care home is a significant decision, and we’re happy to talk it through, whatever stage you’re at.
Who Is Residential Care For?
Residential care may be suitable for someone who needs regular support but doesn’t require nursing care. It can help people who:
- Need regular support with personal care
- No longer feel safe or confident living alone
- Would benefit from meals, routines and companionship
- Need help with medication or daily tasks
- Would feel reassured by having staff nearby day and night
Choosing care can feel like a big step. Our team is happy to talk things through and help you understand whether residential care is the right option.

A Care Plan Built
Around the Resident
Residential care at Lola’s House isn’t just practical support – it’s about helping each person feel known and comfortable in their own home.
Before someone moves in, and throughout their time here, we build up a proper picture of who they are: their routines, their history, what they enjoy, and what helps them feel at ease. That picture shapes everything from morning routines to mealtimes to how staff offer reassurance in a quiet moment.
Families are always welcome to share more – the fuller the picture, the more familiar and personal care can feel from day one.
A Safe, Supportive Setting
Staff are available day and night, so help is always close by. Beyond that, safety is built into the home itself: secure fob entry, controlled access between wings, and an enclosed courtyard that gives residents outdoor space without compromising security.
Our 24/7 on-site maintenance team means the building stays properly looked after, not just secure.
Not Sure What Type of Care You Need?
Care needs can change, and families don’t always know whether residential care, dementia care or palliative care is the right fit. You don’t need to decide alone. Our team can talk through your loved one’s needs and help you find the most suitable option.
